Balmore Cottage
This pretty traditional stone and slate cottage has been converted from two cottages to make a spacious holiday home. It has been restored to a very high standard while retaining its character and has attractive and colourful furnishings.
Large light and airy sitting room with dining area, sofa and easy chairs gathered around the wood-burning stove. Plenty of books and puzzles. One double bedroom with king-size four-poster bed. Adjacent bathroom with bath, basin and WC. One twin bedroom with en suite shower room with shower, basin and W.C. The Kitchen is very well equipped and there is a utility room with basin, W.C. and laundry facilities.
Balmore would be ideal either for a couple having a romantic break or for four people as there is plenty of room but it is cosy.
It is just off a quiet road with views east and west across fields and hills and south to Schiehallion. A large picture window in the sitting room looks onto a patio, lawn and the wonderful highland scenery beyond. There is off-road parking for two cars adjacent to the cottage. You can walk to the hills directly from the cottage. The village is about 2.5 miles.
