A cottage with lovely views
This charming holiday home with wonderful views has been converted from two cottages to make a spacious and comfortable holiday home. It has been restored to a very high standard while retaining its character and has attractive and colourful furnishings.
There is a large light and airy L-shaped sitting/dining room with large picture window on the view and sofa and easy chairs gathered around the wood-burning stove. The dining area has pine table and dining chairs and sideboard. You will find plenty of books and puzzles to interest you.
The double bedroom has a king-size draped four-poster bed and pine dressing table and cupboard. The adjacent bathroom has bath, basin and WC. The twin bedroom has en suite shower room with shower, basin and W.C. The Kitchen is very well equipped and there is a utility room with basin, W.C. and laundry facilities.
Balmore is ideal either for a couple on honeymoon or a romantic break or for a family as there is plenty of room yet it is cosy and warm.
It is just off a quiet road with views east and west across fields and hills and south to Schiehallion. A large picture window in the sitting room looks onto a patio, lawn and the wonderful highland scenery beyond. You can see all manner of birds and animals around the cottage such as deer, hares, partridges, pheasants, red squirrels, eagles, buzzards to name but a few. There is off-road parking for two cars adjacent to the cottage. There is wooden garden furniture. The village of Kinloch Rannch is about 2.5 miles.
